Tides Between Worlds

Tides Between Worlds is a body of work shaped by movement—between places, identities, and inner landscapes. Created during my residency in Kep, Cambodia, the exhibition reflects states of being that exist in transition: neither fully here nor there, but constantly shifting.

Rather than depicting the physical landscape, these works translate atmosphere into emotion. Influenced by the rhythms of the sea, the density of the jungle, and the quiet intensity of daily encounters, each piece holds fragments of belonging, displacement, and transformation.

Through expressive painting, layered textures, and integrated text, the works invite the viewer into a space of reflection—where boundaries dissolve and new connections emerge.

Tides Between Worlds is not about a place, but about the feeling of moving through it.
